During the third quarter of this school year, four TSA students participated in a media arts class where they explored their personal interests or current issues through art.

The lifespans of litter, the tragedy of road kill, the history of Vermont maple syrup, and the environmental impacts of  electronic waste were the topics covered by this year's class.  Students worked on their projects individually, creating in art forms both familiar and new to them.  The results were varied forms of media, from sideshows and sculptures, to oil plantings and a recycled metal works collage.

In addition to creating visual art pertinent to life today, students also explored the different ways we could use the art to spread the word about our topics, as a true form of media.  The result of this consideration was a web page and a YouTube account where the art can be viewed and the issues can be discovered and explored.
